      On this site we hope you will find all the necessary information you need to take you and your son on their journey through the fun and exciting world of SCOUTING.  We at Pack 100 hope you find this website useful and full of valuable information to make your sons' scounting experience the best it can be.  Use the menu bar at the top of the page to navagate around the site.  Be sure to check out the den pages to see what is going on with the boys and what they have coming up.

      Pack 100 would also like to invite any 1st through 5th grade boy from the Hubbard, Ohio area to join.  Boys can join at any time during the year.  We also welcome and encourage parents to help out in any way they can.

      We do all kinds of fun activities, like family camping, Pinewood Derby, fishing outings, games and a lot more.  See our Pack Calendar for more information on upcoming meetings and events.

JULY’S THEME:

- H2Ohhh! -      Dive right in as Cub Scouts spend a month enjoying water activities and learning about water creatures and water conservation. It is a perfect time to learn about safety rules in and around water. This month's pack activity might be a safety carnival, an outdoor raingutter regatta, or a pack beach party. This is an ideal opportunity for the boys to work on the Swimming or Fishing belt loops and pins.

Some of the purposes of Cub Scouting developed through this month’s theme are:

• Personal Achievement: Cub Scouts will gain self-confidence and self-esteem as they develop their swimming skills and water safety knowledge.

• Character Development: Cub Scouts will learn the importance of water conservation.

• Preparation for Boy Scouts: By learning swimming safety Cub Scouts will be ready for bigger adventures in Boy Scouts.

The Core Value Highlighted This Month Is:

• Responsibility: Cub Scouts will gain a sense of responsibility through the Buddy System and other safety rules in and around water.
