Zoning Quick Guide
General Guidelines
Always contact the zoning office and/or the
county building department before you finalize plans to make sure you will
be in compliance.
You must be able to show proof of property
lines, if you cannot you must have a survey done.
Decide in advance if you or the contractor
will be responsible for permits and fees.
Make sure all permits are obtained before
scheduling or beginning construction.
Failure to obtain
permits will result in a stop work order and the fee can be double the
original cost.
