Historical
Society Tax Exempt Status
The Internal
Revenue Service, in early February, notified the Hubbard Historical
Society that the organization is classified as a public charity and
qualifies as a 501 [c] [3] organization. This means that the
Historical Society may receive tax deductible bequests, transfer of
gifts.
The Hubbard
Historical society was chartered and incorporated in 1989 with the
mission to collect and preserve and exhibit buildings, books
records, documents, artifacts or specimens of interest relating to
the history of the City of Hubbard or Hubbard Township.
Beginning in
April, this year, the McBride House will be open from 2 pm to 5 pm,
the first Sunday of each month. If you have not visited the
McBride House as yet, make note of it and take the time to see this
rich variety of history covering our city and township. It will be
well worth your time.
If you have
